Monday Update

Wow, our time has flown by.  It is hard to believe we spent our final day of ministry today in both Alta Munyapata and Ravelo.  Tomorrow the groups will once again converge and spend some time here in Sucre seeing the sights and doing some shopping for friends and family.

The Ravelo team will be returning home around midday day and will enjoying a nice meal at a restaurant that has a spectacular view of the city.  From what we have heard they have had a great time in the countryside and have experienced Bolivian life at its purest.  Today the team would have finished there time in Ravelo with some work on a project at the local school and some time to play and hang out with the children.

The Alta Munyapata team finished up their time in the city doing several projects.  Part of the group has been working on a mural of Noah's ark for the new education center.  The group worked hard on the mural and it will be a great addition to the new center.  In the afternoon Mindi Worth lead a CPR training class with the help of a few students, and Bruce Worth lead a cooking class.  Both classes were a huge hit and the Bolivian participants loved it!

It has been a blessing to minister with the team from Hope Church.  The kids have been healthy and happy from day one.  Their work has been very fruitful and they look forward to sharing stories tomorrow when the team once again join together.

I can't believe the ministry time is over! What a wonderful week it has been for the team, the workers and the community. I am anxious to hear all the news from Emily. I suspect this experience will bless her life in many ways. Thank you again for keeping us posted.

Oh, forgot, tell John the Reds are in first place by 1 game on the St. Louis Cardinals at the All-Star break and they even lost the last 4 games to Philly. Sounds like it could be a good year.
